It’s official I have been dubbed the Queen of Sales by Allie at TOATS and I wear the name proudly!
I LOVE to shop seriously I cannot even walk out of Target empty handed it is seriously impossible, but I also LOVE to save money. Just to give you an example my hubby said this to me last night (while we were clothes shopping for me)
“Do you think you could not just go straight for the clearance racks, maybe just pick clothes you like instead? That way you can maybe get like 5 things instead of 10.”
Clearly I am a clearance hound, I sniff it out, I scan everything hoping for a better deal, there are pitfalls (not wanting to spend over $5 on clothes for my girls) but mostly there is just more money in my pocket and super cute clothes on my back.
Today I want to share with you some deals I got this weekend, and share tips on how you can score deals of your own. When I get my new blog design there will be a deals tab, that will be updated frequently with super awesome bargains, so first up my 6 tips!
1~ Wait
It seems simple enough right, but it can be hard. There are many benefits of waiting even a week after you see something in stores. The first benefit is that you can determine if you really want it, if you really will use it or wear it. Coupons is another reason you should wait when you see a bargain, stores usually release new coupons on weekends and around holidays, so wait for a coupon to save some extra money.
2~ Sign Up
If you have stores that you regularly shop at sign up for their newsletter and follow them on social media so you can get their latest coupons, sales and deals. Children’s place sent me a 50% off coupon and I got all this stuff last night for only $26, hello awesome! Many companies often give out higher coupons to their Facebook fans, just last Wednesday I got a coupon for a free box of cereal from Safeway’s Facebook page, so it does work.
3~ Be Heard
Do you love a product or really dislike one? Let the company know. I had some diapers that completely kept falling apart and the store wouldn’t take the back, I contacted the company and they sent me 2 coupons for free packages. I LOVE Huggie wipes seriously I really try to not use anything else, so I told them and they sent me some coupons. Companies love to hear about their products, let them know. *there is no promise of coupons if you try this however, I have done this and had success multiple times.*
4~ Go To The Back
Stores usually place clearance on endcaps (Target), back walls and back corners, go find it! They want to draw you in with the new merchandise so that is always up front, keep on walking to find the discounts.
5~ Follow Coupon Blogs
My favorite is Hip2Save, she updates multiple times each day which is really nice, so it’s an easy way to find deals.
6~Plan Ahead
Shop for the next season, this is especially helpful if you have kids. Summer clothes go on clearance in August and Winter clothes in January, shop these months for the best deals. I got all my girls swimsuits for this summer, last year for around $3 each.
These are 6 of my ways to save money and find bargains, here are some Target deals to get you started this week
Huggies and Pampers baby wipes on sale buy 1 for $2 get 1 for $1
Diaper Genie refill on sale for $6
Use the 20% off select nursery items coupon here
If you don’t have any kiddies in diapers head on over to JcPenney, through today you can use this coupon to save 20% off your entire purchase! I scored all this for just $80!!!

Stopping by from Raising Reagan. Love your tips for saving money but I have to say the hardest part is the "wait". Hate waiting for something I really want.
