I prefer to be a stay at home mom. Notice I didn’t say I love it, I said I prefer it. Having 6 kids is no freaking joke. Most days by bedtime I’m on sensory overload and want to pull my hair out. Of course I love them and their adorable little faces. Even though they can tap dance on my every last nerve, I would rather be a SAHM then in the workforce. But guess what? I know plenty of other parents who don’t want to be a stay at home parent, they don’t like it. Guess what, it’s all okay. It’s even okay if you choose not to have children. Being a parent is hard, so let’s stop the judgement. There’s no shame in the path you choose.
